You can now control which messages are sent based on the content of the appointment.

For example, if you want a follow-up message to be sent the day after an appointment is marked “MISSED” you can setup a follow-up message that looks like this:

Notice that the “Send:” option is set to “If appt contains:”.   So that message only automatically be scheduled/sent if the appointment contains “MISSED”  or “missed” in title, location, or body of the appointment.

You can also send it only if the appointment doesn’t contain a keyword.   So you could add a second follow-up message that is sent to clients that did not miss their appointment if you would like.

Note that Apptoto only counts messages that are actually sent against your reminder credits.
