Apptoto can now be used to automatically send messages to your clients when Appointments are first entered into your calendar (i.e. Booking Messages) and after the appointment takes place (i.e. Follow-up Messages).
Booking Messages are very handy if you schedule appointments more than 3 weeks out. They’ve already proven themselves to reduce last minute cancellations and no-shows.
Follow-up Messages are also very handy. You can ask your clients to fill out a survey or schedule their next appointment. Or politely ask them to add a review to Yelp. Follow-up messages can be scheduled up to 3 days after the appointment.
Here are some ways you can optimize your business with Apptoto’s Follow-up Messages:
- Increase business by prompting clients to schedule their next appointment.
- Improve Yelp reviews by prompting clients to review you on Yelp (use this in combination with “Conditional Messages” to ask only select clients to do so).
- Ask clients to fill out a survey that you setup on SurveyMonkey or Google Docs.
To get started with Booking Confirmations or Follow-up messages… simply log into your Apptoto account, and turn on “Booking Messages” or “Follow-up Messages” on your Account tab. Then, on your Reminders tab you’ll see a new section for each. Under one of the new sections, click “add sms” to add an sms message of that type. So, for example, if you want to add a follow-up message that asks your clients to review you on yelp, you could create a Follow-up Message entry that looks like this:
Be sure to enable the message or else it will not be automatically sent.
We’re in the process of working simple “survey” functionality in the Follow-up Messages. But in the mean time, if you want to survey your clients… you may consider liking to a service like SurveyMonkey in your Follow-up Messages.
